Movie Review

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Well, happy day after. We had a GREAT time. Eric and Merry came from California and we had a special surprise when our daughter from California came also. No one stayed long but that is OK. We really enjoyed the kids while they were here.
At Eric's suggestion, we rented Hancock. I love Will Smith so that was an easy choice. Except for language, this was a really good movie. Hancock is a super hero who has lost his way. I would not suggest you let little kids watch it. The story line is a little complicated but makes sense in the end. I would probably buy it. Like I said, I love Will Smith movies. :)

Supernatural

I have got to find someone who loves Supernatural as much as I do.
I am loving this year and want to chat about it but I can't find anyone who watches the show.
If you do, I would love to hear what you think about this year. :)

Be sure to Vote

We voted today. Here in Arizona we can do early mail in ballots so we do.

One thing though, be sure to SIGN you envelope if you do early mail in voting.
It is very important.
They will not count your vote if you don't sign and date that envelope. We know from experience.

Thank God we live in a country where we can vote.

And I will be sooooooo glad when this is all over. :)

Dancing With the Stars

I really like that show. I just watched what I taped on Tuesday. Thank goodness for DVR :)
I like Cloris Leachman but I can not believe she survived another week. I also like the foot ball player. Can't think of his name right now bit I think he is doing a pretty good job.

Dogs Rule

We just love our Beagles. Chloe and Lucy. Chloe is 10 and Lucy is 9.
We think dogs/pets add so much to your life.

Seasons Decorating

Do you like to decorate for the seasons? I do. We don't have kids at home anymore but I still like for the house to be a little festive for Nick and I.
Halloween IS NOT my favorite holiday so I mostly decorate for Fall.
I love Fall. I guess more now because we live in Arizona and after going through such HOT summers, Fall is a nice reprieve. I LOVE to decorate for Winter also but that will be for another post.

PIZZA

Oh how I LOVE a good pizza. The other day I was craving a really good pizza. Not that Pizza Hut doesn't have good pizza but I wanted the whole dinning out experience. I remembered that there is a place in Calif. that we have gone to with our kids so I emailed Eric and asked him to remind me of the name of the restaurant. I am getting old you know and the memory isn't quite like it used to be LOLOLOL. Anyway, the place is called BJ's Restaurant/Brewery and they do have them here in Arizona. I found the closest one about 10 miles from us. We have driven farther to eat out so this was not a big deal. Oh my gosh, we started out sharing a Caesar Salad, then had the Sweet Pig pizza, that is ham and pineapple, and ended the meal with BJ’S FAMOUS PIZOOKIE^{®.
OH MY GOSH. What a great dinner and we even brought home 1/2 the pizza. If you have a BJ's by you, check them out. OH, they have other stuff besides pizza. I didn't realize that so when we go back we may order something else. Money is tight so if you like to eat out like we do, it is best to at least get a recommendation to a good place. I hate it when I go somewhere new and I don't like the food.

Well, just about the time I think summer is starting to walk out the door she turns around and comes back in. Our temps this week will be in the low 100's. OK, maybe one more week. I have made it this far, I can wait another week..... or two.
Anybody watch Supernatural?? I LOVE that show and it is back now. I really like where it is going to go this season. I have a lot of favorite TV shows so I am sure we will chat about those as time goes by. For now though, I have to get to work. Yes, I know, it is Sunday but I have work and I don't get paid till it is done so......

Summer is almost over

Here in Arizona it has been HOT HOT HOT.
Now summer seems to be on the downside. We love sitting on our veranda and enjoying our coffee on our beautiful mornings. I am hoping to share recipes, business ideas (I own D's Stitcheree) and just plain ol' in sites into life here on this blog. Welcome..... I hope you enjoy.
